How do I choose the language of the tour?

My tours are offered in English and Russian. If you are using the webpage in English, during the booking process you will only be shown the dates when tours are available in English.

How big are the groups?

Minimum required is 2 pax, maximum – 6 pax (if you are a bigger group you can request a private tour by contacting me by email).


Who are Delicious Valencia Food Tours for?

The tours are for travellers who want to experience the authentic Valencia: go to the places where locals go, eat the way the locals eat. My tours are off-the-beaten path. They are packed with information on how the food is produced, the history of the places we visit and recommendations on where to eat and what to do during your stay in Valencia.



Is there a lot of walking involved?

The walking distance on the tours is about 3 km. The tours’ itinerary is carefully created to allow for a rest every now and then and is suitable for the majority of people.


What does the ticket price cover?

The ticket price covers ALL food and drinks offered on the tours as well as the Spanish VAT. No hidden or extra costs. This is a walking tour, there is no transporation included.


Can I just show up for the tour and pay in cash?

I have special dietary requirements, can I join your tours?

Vegetarians, pescatarians and people who eat gluten-free foods can be accommodated on the evening tapas tour. Unfortunately the tour is not suitable for vegans.

The day time market & city tour cannot be adapted to vegetarians.


I have a food allergy – can the tour be adapted to my needs?

Please email me with the specifics and I will get back to you within a few hours or less.


I am pregnant and would like to avoid cured meats, non-pasteurized cheese and alcohol.

Please make a note during the booking process and we will make the necessary changes.


What happens if I arrive late at the meeting point?

We start promptly as the food at the first few stops is served on a strict schedule. So please do plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the tour. However, if you are running late, you can call me on +34 669 003 728 and I will try to catch you up.


I will not be consuming alcohol during the tour. Can I get a discount?

As a matter of fact, a glass of wine and a can of soda or a bottle of water most of the time cost the same in Spain, so unfortunately I cannot offer a discount.

Teenagers and children (age 13-17), accompanied by their families, get a discount during the booking process.


I have a child with me who will not be consuming food and beverages offered on the tour. Can I get a discount?

Children under 5 years of age who will not be consuming food and beverages during the tour do not need to book a ticket.


Are your establishments stroller / wheelchair accessible?



Are the tickets refundable?

The tickets are non-refundable, as your purchase guarantees a spot just for you. Should you have to change your plans please email me at to change the date of the tour (depending on the availability), at least 24 hours in advance.


What should I bring on the tour?

Please bring a bottle of water and an umbrella if it looks like raining. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes.


Under what weather conditions will the tour be cancelled?

The tour will only be cancelled under extreme weather conditions such as torrential downpour (typically hits the shores of the Mediterranean during 2-3 days in September or October). In such cases you will be notified via email and a phone call and your ticket fully refunded.
